高考英语写作练习：日常进行积累
如何练习英语写作？这是一个摆在每一个英语学习者，尤其是高中阶段的同学来说不得不解决的一个问题。常有同学积攒了满腔的学习写作热情却不知如何开始着手开始练习，也有同学简单地认为多写可以提高写作水平，于是开始不求质量，但求数量的无目的地疯狂练习写作，可写过一段时间发现写作水平总是在原地踏步无法提高，从而产生懊恼之感，甚至心生怯意。这又是为什么呢？

首先寻找一本用于模仿的教材或书籍，要求教材课文或书籍文章为中英文对照，文章难度课略低于高考试题阅读文章难度(推荐新概念二册，学有余力者可以参考新概念三册)。每练习一篇文章时，先熟悉文章内生词。在掌握生词之后，可直接对照文章的中文，将其一句句转写成英语，其间若有不会写的地方，也不要参考文章英语原文，可按照自己的理解将其写出。待全篇文章写完之后，再将自己写的文章和文章的英语原文进行对比。这样，在对比的过程中，寻找到自己在语言表达方面的不足，学习并掌握新的或者地道的英语表达方式，从而提高自己的语言运用能力。
以新概念三册为例，来看几个可供学习的语言点。第十五课开篇第一句话“孩子们总是喜欢得到一些零用钱做礼物。”不少同学在转写时会将“喜欢”写成“like”，这样的语言显得相当单薄。然而对比作者原文“Children always appreciate small gifts of pocket money.”不难发现，使用“appreciate”来表达此含义，无疑更加精确。又如第四十六课，其中一句“现在我们自己动手做事的热情很高……”相当一部分同学在转写成类似于“Our passion is great for doing things for ourselves…”这样了无新意的句型；然而对比原文“ So great is our passion for doing things for ourselves…”难道这种将表语置前的倒装句型不会更加新颖吗？类似于此种例子，在新概念教材中林林总总，不胜枚举。
